This is a very personal tale, because it is MY story!

 

I am sharing with you, not for sympathy but because I see my experience as a huge blessing.  How can people have faith in a Holistic Practioner who hasn't faced and triumphed in adversity. I am a walking, talking advert for the potential of Reiki and crystal healing.

It all started years ago. I was back and forth from the doctors with a variety of niggling but very real symptoms. Time and time again I was told I was suffering from stress and PTSD which made sense because at the time I was Managing Director and owner of a National Training company delivering quality training across the UK, dealing with Government contracts, Quality Regulators, a team of staff, employers and hundreds of learners etc. Also, I had experienced a particularly tough childhood.

 

In October 2017 my symptoms worsened significantly. As well as the stress of my work, I had endured three years of adult bullying on a livery yard where I kept my horses. This was particularly difficult because no one really believed me. This only added to the stress, and enhanced the power of the bullies.

 

I became so ill I was admitted to hospital and very nearly lost my life.

What happened? The stress had become so bad that my body had started to respond by bleeding out of every orifice and almost constantly (yes every orifice)!!

Remember, our body must respond to our brain and this is a classical case of dis-ease!

​

I had been to the doctors and was referred to the hospital before my emergency admittance, but interventions were not enough and my body went into malnutrition and then starvation mode because it wasn't able to utilize the food I was eating. 

​

It was one of THE most painful and difficult times

I have ever been through. I literally had to fight to survive and I very nearly didn't make it, but my Reiki Master sent

Distance Reiki vigilantly and I made a "miraculous recovery".

​

Relapse: In May 2018 I encountered a lot of stress suddenly: my horse damaged her eye and faced the very real prospect of losing it, and, on the same day, a dear friends cow went down with a mystery illness.

 I set about giving Reiki to both animals, every day for an entire week (detailed in other Case Studies).

​

However, I must not have taken enough care of my own energetic health and hygiene and not long after, all my symptoms resurfaced. This time I knew what was happening and I went straight to the hospital and was under my specialist team who administered a heavy cocktail of drugs including steroids, anti- inflammatories and antibiotics. Despite this, I continued to worsen and ended up back in hospital in an isolation and critical ward, on an IV infusion drip 24/7 but again despite this, and their best interventions, I was dying and the drugs were making matters worse.

​

Reiki and the power within: Lying there semi conscious, I was fully aware that the medics were running out of options and as weak as I was, I knew that I had to take matters into my own hands- quite literally! So, I summoned the strength to give myself Reiki. I knew that my dear Reiki Master was doing the same via Distance Healing but I had to do my bit too. The moment I started to do so, was the turning point in my recovery.

In six months because of the drugs I was given, I have had FOUR organs go into failure (heart, kidneys, liver and gallbladder) and so, I made the personal choice to stop all medication and treat myself Holistically, implementing a multi dimensional program: Nutrition, Reiki, Crystal Healing, Nutrition, Exercise and  Essential Oils.

 

I am now making "astonishing progress" and going into remission. Medics are so baffled by my recovery that they really are intrigued into my methods. To open people's minds, well what a blessing that is!

Please remember that I am a qualified and experienced healthcare and wellness professional, please do NOT follow my example unless you have the consent from your doctor and have a Holistic Practitioner guiding your path. My medical team admitted to running out of options, and were supportive (and very much utterly bewildered) of my choice.

​

 The message: whatever your issue, whatever the prognosis, Reiki can help on some level.
